The Coromandel really is a such a unique spot in New Zealand. Surrounded by sea on both sides and covered in rugged bush, the winding roads take you past many beautiful coastal bays. There are plenty of beaches and photo opportunities as you slowly relax into a slower more relaxed way of life.
