Tour Detail
We leave from Christchurch and end up back there after 6 days of cycling. The route follows the old Maniototo railway line from Clyde to Middlemarch and a spectacular train trip on the Taieri Express to Dunedin (one of the world's great train trips). There is plenty of time to relax and soak up the stunning scenery along the way, with optional trips to the historic gold mining town of St Bathans and the blue lake. The return journey takes us along coastal roads and the Moeraki boulders.
