This epic adventure takes you deep into rural South Island life; quiet roads, stunning scenery and firsthand encounters with the local wildlife. You’ll meander alongside the beautiful lakes of Te Anau and Manapouri, and ride the rugged coastline of the Catlins.
Lake Wakitipu, rugged coastlines in the dramatic Catlins and wildlife galore including the rare Yellow Eyed Penguins, Hector’s Dolphins and the Royal Albatross Colony on the Otago Peninsula.

Explore the picturesque bays, rugged coastlines and rare wildlife of Southland by bike. This tour begins by cycling alongside Lake Wakatipu and the Fiordland National Park before visiting the world’s most southern city, Invercargill.
Ride along the remote Catlins Coast, home to an ancient petrified forest, fur seals, rare hectors dolphins and the the world’s rarest penguin – the yellow‑eyed penguin. Next up is a visit to Dunedin – The Edinburgh of the South, famous for the Otago Peninsula and the Royal albatross. You end the tour with a stop in the Victorian city of Oamaru on the way up to Christchurch.
