SeaSucker Vacuum-Mount Bike Racks

We think these bike racks are simply top notch. They’ve proved phenomenally popular overseas and now they are in New Zealand.

SeaSucker racks are incredibly simple to install thanks to their vacuum mounts – no more fiddling with straps and clips – and they won’t damage or mark your car. Because they’re so easy to use, they’re perfect for the weekend warrior who wants a fast getaway at the end of the working week. And they’re just as simple to remove as they are to install, meaning you don’t need to be driving around with your rack in place when you don’t need it – reducing drag and saving you money.

Worried about the strength of the vacuum mounts? The Talon model (designed to hold one bike) is held in place by THREE vacuum mounts – with each mount capable of securing 95kg. That’s 285kg of holding power: more than enough strength to secure TWO average rugby players in place. The Mini-Bomber (a two-bike rack) uses FOUR vacuum mounts, giving you 380kg of muscle.

SeaSucker racks aren’t designed to be permanently attached to your vehicle and over time the mount will lose vacuum. To counter this, each mount comes with a built in pump and indicator gauge. When the gauge starts showing orange, you just have to increase the vacuum with a quick pump on the plunger.

A two-bike fork-mount rack designed to attach to your car’s roof or trunk, or your SUV’s back glass.
